Arbitrage is generally defined as the excess earnings resulting from obtaining tax-exempt bond proceeds and investing those funds in higher yielding taxable securities resulting in profit. In our first article in this series, we noted that there are five keys to successfully managing your arbitrage rebate calculation.

Umbaugh has awarded the second annual Herschell J. Umbaugh Memorial Scholarship to Vayhan Wendt, a 2008 graduate of Plymouth High School.
The scholarship was created to honor Herschell J. Umbaugh, the founder of H.J. Umbaugh & Associates.
