What’s next…..
DLGF review – The DLGF reviews budgets for compliance with the law and to ensure they can be funded with available revenue sources. After the review DLGF will certify your budget, and the certified amounts will show up on the Gateway website by February 15.
Debt reporting – For the first time year-end indebtedness will be reported through the Gateway site for all taxing units, including schools. The submissions are due March 1. If Umbaugh previously prepared your annual debt reporting spreadsheet, we will contact you soon about your Gateway filing. If we haven’t assisted with your debt reporting and you need help this time, contact us at footnotes@umbaugh.com.
All submitted budget information is now available to the public on Gateway at http://gateway.ifionline.org.
